Overview

Goodnotes organizes content like your computer. Folders are virtual bookshelves where you can group notes by subject or project. Documents are notebooks you create or files you import for annotation.

Organize with folders to find similar documents quickly. You can create colored folders and sub-folders with custom icons to match their purposes!

Create a library item

  1. Choose New... from the Documents tab of the Library View.

  2. Choose a library item to create:

Favorite or unfavorite a library item

Work with a library item

  1. Open the item’s menu via the Down arrow to the right of its title:

  2. Choose any of the following:

    (D = visible on a document only, F = visible on a folder only)

Work with many library items

  1. Select those items in the Library View: Open the Views menu > Select Items, then tap the items.
