Goodnotes offers multiple options for sharing annotated documents. Export folders, documents, or individual pages easily. Perfect for sharing with others or creating personal backups!
Goodnotes supports exporting in the following file formats:
Apple
Open the document or page.
Open the Share and Export menu.

Choose an Export or Print task:
Export This Page or Export All: Export just the page in view or the whole document. Next, change the Export details, then choose Export.
Save changes to <cloud storage> PDF: Export the document as a PDF and save it on the cloud storage in the folder where it was imported, overwriting any PDF with the same name.

Print: Print the document. This functionality requires an AirPrint-enabled printer.
Android, Windows, and Web
Export the document: Open the document, then the Share and Export menu (near top-right corner) > Export as PDF.

Export the page: Open Sidebar > “…” under the page > Export Page as PDF.

Select those items in the Library View:
Apple: Open the Views menu > Select Items, then tap the items.

Android, Windows, and Web: Choose the Select icon (near top-right corner), then tap the items.

Choose ****Export, change Export details, then choose Export.

When you export a page or document to a PDF, you can choose between the Editable and Flattened PDF formats. Flattened PDFs (the only format Goodnotes for Android, Windows, and Web currently supports) should work for you most of the times as they are lighter in file size, compatible with most PDF viewers, and any handwriting in them is searchable just like regular text. However, if you want to retain the outlines or hyperlinks in the exported PDF, choosing the Editable PDF Format is required. We summarize the differences below.
