GoodNotes supports importing files in the following formats for annotating:
<aside> ⚠️ While GoodNotes can import Word and PowerPoint files directly (supported on iPadOS/iOS only), you will get better results by importing PDF versions of them. Otherwise, the app will convert them internally to PDFs anyway, but the final formatting might not be as accurate.

Tap the New...
icon (large plus icon) in the Documents tab of the Library View and choose Import
.
Do either of the following:
Import one file: Tap on it.
Import multiple files: Tap Select
near the upper right corner of the Files interface, select those files, and tap Open
.

In GoodNotes, open the library view, and ideally open the folder that you want to contain the new document(s).
Switch to the other app, then do either of the following:
Tap Share
(or Open In...
) in that app.
Choose either of the following:
Open in GoodNotes
