To protect your notes from unexpected issues, it's always a good idea to make regular backups of your library. The backup will also provide a quick way to transfer your library to a new GoodNotes installation on another device.

Create a library backup

1. Open GoodNotes menu.
   • How?
2. Choose Settings > Back up Data> Back up Now.
3. Choose Save to Files from the Share sheet and choose a safe place for the .zip file.
