Manage the current page

Work with the current page

When you have a page in front of you, there are many things you can do with it.

  1. Open the More menu.

  2. Do any of the following:

Change the template of the page

  1. Choose Change Template.

  2. Choose Paper at the top:

  3. Filter templates by Size, Color (for paper templates only), and Orientation at the top.

    <aside> 💡

    (Apple only) Choose Custom from the Size list to define a new size. Choose Customize Colors from the Color list to define a new paper color. This feature is called Dynamic Templates.

  4. Select a template from the list, then choose Apply.

Manage multiple pages

The Sidebar provides a structured view of all the pages and other document data in your document, allowing you to take bulk actions.

Depending on the type of the current document, this view contains the following sections:

Section What's in it Relevant document types
Pages / Boards All the pages or boards of the current notebook or Whiteboard as thumbnails Notebook (”Pages), (”Boards”)
Outline The outline of the document, including any imported PDF outline and a custom outline. Notebook,
(Android, Windows, and Web only) Bookmarks All bookmarks of the document All types
Audio All audio clips of the document All types

Open the Sidebar

(Apple only) Switch between Sidebar and Window views
