What It Does

The Image Tool lets you insert thousands of words, aka images, onto the pages easily.

How to Use It

With the tool selected, you can do any of the following:

Insert an image from Photos

Insert an image from the Files app

<aside> 💡 You can also tap the Image Tool again (or tap it twice if it's not already selected) and browse for an image, which will be inserted in the center of the page. You can then drag to move the selected image to a desired location.

<aside> 💡 Your most recent images from Photos are shown as thumbnails in the scrollable contextual section. Simply tap any of them to insert it, or drag and drop it onto the page.

Insert a Camera photo

  1. Tap the Camera icon in the contextual section:

  2. Take a photo, then choose Retake or Use Photo.

  3. Drag the inserted photo to a desired location.

Edit an inserted image/photo

Tap on the image while the Image Tool is selected. Otherwise, long-press the image and choose Edit. Then choose any of the following:

Delete the image

Scale / Rotate the image

Resize the image horizontally / vertically

Crop the image

  1. Tap on the image again, then choose Crop.
  2. Adjust any of the blue circles to crop a rectangular section of it, or choose "Freehand" and draw a closed "crop area".
  3. Tap Done.
