What It Does

The Text Tool lets you quickly jot down notes in movable text boxes or directly on the page.

How to Use It

Movable text

Typing in a text box is the most common way to add text in Goodnotes. You can place text boxes anywhere on the page, format them with different styles, and move them around as needed.

Insert movable text

  1. Select the Text Tool from the toolbar, tap anywhere on the page, and type.

  2. Format the text as you type via the Object Menu.
