What is the Trash Bin?

The Trash Bin is the place that stores deleted documents, folders, and pages, giving them a second chance to be recovered until you choose to manually delete them forever.

Open the Trash Bin

1. Open Goodnotes Menu.
   • How?
2. Choose Trash.

Now that you're in the Trash Bin, here are some things you can do.

Sort items in the Trash Bin

You can sort your items using the filters at the top-center and can sort displayed items by:

• Date: The items are sorted by Last Edited date. The most recently edited items come first.
• Name: The items are sorted alphabetically, whether they are folders or documents.
• Type: The items are sorted alphabetically but folders come before documents.

Recover one or more trash items

If you deleted something accidentally, or changed your mind, you can return any deleted item to your library.

1. Select the item(s):
   • How?
2. Choose Recover.

The item will be put back to the original folder/notebook where it was removed.

Delete a trash item permanently

If you are certain you do not want to recover an item and will not need it again in the future, you can permanently delete it. Please note, this action cannot be undone.
