To start using Goodnotes, you will be asked to log in to what’s called a “Goodnotes account.” This account is used to identify your subscription status so that we can make sure you enjoy the exclusive benefits you’re currently subscribed to.
It’s very easy to create a Goodnotes account! Simply log in to one of the following accounts that you likely already have: a Google, Apple, or Microsoft account. Any of those accounts that you sign in to within Goodnotes becomes your Goodnotes account.

Remember which identity provider (Apple, Google, or Microsoft) you used when creating your Goodnotes account, as you'll need to use the same one to log in again later.

To make your note-taking experience more fun and smooth, we recommend using Goodnotes on your compatible device(s) of choice.

iPad / iPhone / Mac (App Store): Updates are automatic by default. To manually get an update, go to Goodnotes App Store page and choose the Update button (if a newer version is available).
Android (Google Play / Galaxy Store), Windows, Web: Updates are automatic; if you see Update Available in the About sidebar, tap Restart.
