The Elements Tool lets you save and reuse custom content across documents. It's a personal library of reusable items accessible anytime. For students, professionals, or note decorators, Elements Tool streamlines using diagrams, signatures, or stickers in an efficient, organized way.
An element can be anything you create in Goodnotes—handwriting, highlighting, shapes, images, text boxes, or any combination of these. All elements are organized into collections, similar to how folders organize your notebooks in the app. This structure makes it easy to find any element when you need it.
Select the Elements tool from the toolbar.
Scroll the bottom list of collections all the way to the right, then tap the plus icon.
Name the collection in the "title" field.
Add more elements to it via Add Photos or Import from…
Choose Create.

Once inserted onto the page, the element will stay selected as a whole. This allows you to easily edit the inserted element. For example, many built-in elements are composed of both an image and typed text (e.g. the "Sign here" sticker), and after inserting such an element and de-selecting it, you can use the Text tool to edit the text and the Image tool to edit the image.
